I used to like climbing ladders to see the stuff they thought I would not be looking at. (removing covers etc) That will give you a better idea about the things they plan for you to look at. Covering 5 counties, my travel time could be 3 hours so it seemed silly to me to do a drive by inspection. Besides I just like looking at stuff and working for the state, they had some cool stuff.
