Ok guys you are my go to answer team (much appreciated by the way). So we are doing some apartments and have come across what appears to be gray area in the code regauarding small appliance circuit. Here is a quick synopsis; we have two kitchen that supply only the kitchen, then we have a dining room that also feeds bedroom plugs only (no ceiling light switched receps)...I believe this is a violation as 210.52 lists specifically kitchen, dinining, pantry and simular, with no other outlets, however it was pointed out an exception to outlet in dining room that is a 15a and switched (I'm not sure that applys, but it adds to the confusion). Also some think because we already have the 2 small appliance you can feed whatever you want with dining circuit. Your guy's imput would help, as I said my interpretation is these rooms and simular, which definitely would not include bedroom.

Thanks,
H2O

I hope you caught this at the FEPA/C (pre drywall) because it is a show stopper at least if the AHJ cares about the code.
