submitted via Joe Tedesco: Don't know where to place this category wise, obsolete equipment, or just plain hazardous. This was energized when the photo was taken and still hot when the demolition crew started to do their thing.

more .... I know a shopping center that has this same setup behind it... freaky looking... I don't imagine this being for more than 120/240V ... but I could be wrong....

The electrical was energized when the demolition crew was collapsing the roof.
later they broke the fire sprinker line and didn't know where to shut if down ... likely drowned the neighboring business ( a pool supply of all things) ...
Final demo was the utility room ... I checked it out before they knocked it down and sure enough ... the gas service was still intact inside.
Three strikes and the stop order hit the remaining portion.
