A 5.4 is just a stroked 4.6 like the 351 was a stroked 302.And the 6.O is a 5.4 with two extra cylinders.The most reliable out of the new motors is the 4.6,5.4,6.0 in that order.Best bang for your buck is the 5.4
Performance depends the HP to weight ratio torque is off the line power and HP is rolling power.
I still say diesel though
