As a Boy Scout adult leader my heart and prayers go out to the victims of this tragedy and their families,and everyone else in attendance at the National Jamboree.
I'm also a counselor for the Electricity,Electronics,and Radio Merit Badges for my troop. I always emphasize electrical safety when I conduct merit badge sessions and when I demo.Amateur Radio for the scouts and will be stepping up efforts in this training.
As a scout leader, I would like to put a call to all of the fine professionals on E.C.N. that if any of you are approached by the Scouts for electrical safety training or demonstration, please consider it and if any of you are Scout leaders, please offer your expertise in assisting them. This would be especially for anyone working for a Poco. as well.
