Heck yeah we're keeping those cabinets, that was one of the things that "bought" the house for my mother.
I find that I often prefer the older style of fittings to the modern.
I've seen some of those "home makeover" shows where they rip out an old room and refurbish it, they're gushing over how wonderful and modern it looks, and I'm sitting there thinking that they've completely ruined the place and it looked much better before.
