I have read lots on this subject but want to get some of your ideas on this issue. My brother wants to install wall sconce lights (2 of them) on the back side of the hydro tub wall. They will be 7'-6" off of the floor and 6'-0" from the max. water surface fill height. What would some of you do in this situation? Would you do it? Would you put them on gfci? With the lights being so high, do they need to still be wet location lights? The bathroom has vaulted ceilings that are 10'-0". Any ideas?

Check this out.
Many times you can search a for a subject.
Hit search, the NEC, and type in wall sconce.

I'd put it on a GFCI at the very least.

I think the code should be reworded, so the lights are not on a wall the tub enclosure touches,or is so close to the tub you have to stand in or on the tub or enclosure to change the lamp.
