Sorry guys....I didnt know Union VS. Non Union was such a hot topic. Well, I sort of did....but I guess this isnt the place to discuss it.

So let me pose it another way....and I dont think this question will cause any conflict.
What would be some tidbits of advice that you would give to someone who wants to start a career in this business? (PS. I don't mean starting a business....just practical advice.)

I too didn't think it would be a big deal, but in respect to the moderators...

Anyway, some issues related to starting in this field do have to do with that topic, like getting into an apprenticeship. I'd be happy to share my experiences with you if you want--email me.
