Dropping by the Electrical Contractor (Magazine) website to renew my subscription, I noticed the following:

Passing of W. Creighton Schwan, December 16, 2006, with a nice obituary type article.

For those of us (mainly Joe Tedesco's Site) and a few other places, Creighton was a frequent forum visitor. He also wrote a regular NEC based article monthly for EC Magazine, always on the last page.

Just thought some guys here might want to know.

Thanks Creighton for your posts and replys over the years...If I remember correctly many of them were made with a good sense of humor.

I didn't realize he wrote for EC magazine ( I have subscription too). But I'm certainly familiar with him from his posts here. Sorry to hear that he has passed away. His insight to the electrical industry will be sorely missed.

It is always sad when we hear of the passing of one the great ones! But the time has come for Creighton to lay down his tools for good. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to his family and may the Good Lord welcome Him with open arms.

Oh my,
This is a real shame for the Electrical Trade.
Another great disappears off into the mist.
My condolences to his family and friends.

Rest In Peace Creighton.

Other side of the coin, are'nt the electrical services in Heaven in for a shake-up!.
