on another note,
i was called to a Night Club in southampton to ascertain the reason for a number of lighting points that were in operative , including the emergency lights,
low and behold the instalaltion was fitted by the clubs DJ !!!!!!
loads of terminal block, junction boxes, flex used in conduit, no bushings etc etc etc,
the failure of a sub circuit from the distributiion board was the fault, so we removed the outgoing feeders and wired in a temp feed.
we are going back to the site on the 16th December (thats when the students are away) and we are going to rip the lot out and start again.
Chpmunk is aslo going to be on site to learn a bit of the commercial side of our industry.
will get loads of pics for the board, including the really nice (sic) fire alarm and distribution boards.
the sealing pitch is no longer within the POCo`s cut out !!!!
