My grandpappy always said after the thanksgiving dinner:
"Sufferin' in comfort."
as he patted his belly...
Mmmmmmmmm....

And by now, millions of turkeys are breathing a sigh of relief and relaxing. For a few weeks, at least.... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.electrical-contractor.net/ubb/biggrin.gif)

Went to the kid's school today, they had a Thanksgiving party, I had a plate so full they had to slop the mashed potatoes and gravy on top of the turkey, stuffing and other things that comprised the 1st level.
I thought I was stuffed until I went through the dessert line. Pumpkin pie, apple pie and lemon meringue pie, with whipped cream. I'm still crippled from that gorging. Waddling around like a penguin 12 hours later.

It's funny how incidents stick in the mind. I remember having Thanksgiving dinner at a diner in Myrtle Beach, SC, must have been in 1993. The waitress said something like "Didn't make it home for Thanksgiving then?" "No, I'm a long way from home." "Oh, yeah, I can hear you are now!" HAPPY THANKSGIVING! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.electrical-contractor.net/ubb/smile.gif)
