Ok i think i am ready to flip out over this topic, i have had it out with more people over the proper responce to the following?

looking to find out the proper size wires for the below listed services as well as the proper size wire to ground rod and wire to water pipe. I have been arguing this on out way to ften lately so lets see what everyone out goes with. if poss code ref. #'s would be great i go with 310.15(B)(6) myself

Services;
100 amp = wire size cooper & alum.
150 amp= same
200 amp= same

as well as bonding for each.
and ground to ground rods for each.

IF you are sizing for dwelling units, then 310.15(B)(6) is the correct table to determine service conductor sizes.

You say grounding electrode conductors to ground rods - 250.66(A) says #6 copper to the rod regardless of the service size.

Bonding?...bonding what?

Main Bonding Jumper? 250.28(D) says to use Table 250.66 and size your jumper based on the size of the service conductor

Bonding to water pipe (dwelling water service) - 250.66 says to use Table 250.66

Bonding jumper used to connect grounding electrodes together to form the grounding electrode system - 250.53(C) says to size per 250.66

Bonding metal water piping systems installed in or attached to a building - 250.104(A)(1) says to size in accordance with Table 250.66
