I haven't seen the 2005 Mass Elec Code available yet. So I called MECA today and they said it is being printed now and won't be out for a couple of weeks.

So I wonder when I am suppose to do my installations according to the 2005 code if it isn't available yet?

When do the inspectors in the State start enforcing the new code?

Joe...do you have a copy of the approved ammendments to the 2005 NEC by the State of Massachusetts?

I need to have a copy of the ammendments if I am to comply with the changes as I start new jobs in the new year.

Yes, I have a copy. The Statehouse Bookstore should have them available too. You may be able to order a copy on line.

You'd think there would be some effort (there is currently none at all) to make this public and readily available. Not in this screwed up state.

But only if you can spell it! Man, I'm glad I live in Utah!
