Just wondering. What does the market look like for electrical inspectors and what is their odds of not being hired due to of potential permanent light duty due to bad back? 20 years of experience and nothing to do with it.

I'm asking for a friend....

The job market here in NJ is very good for electrical inspectors.
There seems to be a high demand, and a shortage of guys with the required licenses. A lot of retirements in a lot of towns.

I'm looking for either P/T or F/T inspector for a while.

The 'Light Duty' may be an issue. Roof access via ladders is a concern. Usual expectations are being capable of accessing all areas of construction sites via safe means.
