You did good with the link!

Nice mess.

I'll move this into the photos for discussion section.

Reminds me of those Beirut telecom pictures that circulated a while back...

Now That's a Bad wiring job!!

Looks a little familiar though.... unfortunately... I've seen a few with similar workmanship.

Hey, maybe the Guy was a Spaghetti maker?

This hurts my eyes! cry Disconnect at pole, gut the rats nest of a house, and put a qualified electrician to work.

NO WAY! Now that is down right ugly. I agree gut the place and get a qualified electricain.

I have a sense of adventure, I just keep it leashed with common sense.

Let me put this into my language too... "Oida i POCKS net!"
(I don't get it... how on earth can you do something like that?!?)

I mean, the guy who did this pretty much made the room unusable for storage, so what was he thinking? (or perhaps drinking?). Heck, even temporary lighting jobs at my own place (which I'm not really proud of sometimes, but they're out of reach of unqualified personnel and rarely last longer than a week) look better than that! Besides, copper must've been real cheap when this was done wink

I would just like to point out that as bad as it looks, it works...remember that...

so while we take pride in what we do, and want it to be a work of art, fundamentally, it's the same product as that...

the key is to learn how to convey that a proper installation, at a proper price, is better for the customer than that...

but whatever you do, don't try to compete on price with the installer of this mess, while trying to install a work of art...
