Carpenters were moving a wall and I decided on moving the electric in advance before they had to wait on me to move some switches on the wall. I was tracing some wires to refeed what ever I had too and I traced a BX wire going through a few studs and transforms into ROMEX after a section of a wall.

To make this short I started to cut the wall open a little bit since it was coming down anyway and I found where the fridge was plugged in.

Found a box with a Stud plate for a cover. Figured out the BX to RX part. No wire nuts just black tape.

I hate do it yourself or hacks. Wish I can find these people just to ask them WHY.

Good work. It really sucks to know that someone got paid to do this. Or not, if is a homeowner. I have way more mercy for homeowners.
