What is the determining factor for when an injury is required to be put on the OSHA 300 log?
Say someone slightly cuts their finger at work and needs a bandaid?
Or someone with a bad back lifts a relatively light object at work but this causes another back injury that requires them to miss work. Does that need to be put on the 300 log?

If I recall correctly, "first aid" incidents need not be recorded. Events that result in a trip to the hospital, or time off work, do.

Bill,
Here's a PDF file on the 300 log.
Hope this helps.
