Unfortunately, most of those are what happens when the IT guys get hold of a job site. This is what we are competing against (and usually lowering our prices to compete with). Honestly, the computer room shots are fairly typical after they have had their hands on the site for about a month.

Typical? Wow that's rough!
Where I am we have a few pretty tangled IDF's but some of those look like you need to be wearing one of those miner's helmets with the light on them to start looking into things.

That looks like most modem/lan racks I have seen. You may start out with a professional installation but after a few years and different people installing and removing equipment without ever straightening out the cables or pulling out the old ones it is that rat's nest in the pictures.
I wish I still had pictures of some of the rasised floors I have seen.
