The fuel line on some Echo power hand tools may develop an “alligator surface” appearance that could develop into a condition that could allow the seepage of gasoline through the wall of the fuel line. The leaking gasoline and vapor could result in a fire, which could cause serious personal injury.

The Echo products involved in this recall were all manufactured between February 2003 through November 2003, and were sold to the public during and after that time period.
