Can someone please tell me the standard 3 phase (less than 600) voltages in Australia?
Our (US) company would like to ship a piece of equipment with a 3 phase motor to Brisbaine.

Thanks!

Redsy,
Australian standard voltage is the same as the UK ie. 240/415V 50Hz, or as we should now say 230/400V +10% -6%.
If your motor is rated 400/415V 50Hz it will be fine for standard Australian 3 phase voltage.

Just a small aside to this topic,
It's rather strange, how Australia has the 240/415V supply system, but us in NZ ended up with a 230/400V system, considering that we are both Commonwealth countries. [Linked Image]

Maybe NZ had sense! It opened up a whole range of electrical gear aimed at the european 220/380 and the uk 240/415 market !

Remember that although both Australia and NZ were influenced by the Commonwealth, supplies in Britain itself weren't fully standardized at 240/415V until the early 1970s.

Prior to that, the nominal levels varied from one district to another: 220/380, 240/415, 250/440 etc.
