Just had 36 hrs of snow. around 18 inches or so at my house, 20 miles inland around 2 feet and 50 miles inland around 30 inches. Biggest storm I've seen in awhile. A few pics around my house. in the first one the bird bath gives perspective on the depth of the snow.

Enjoy

We've had very little this year, but those are nice pictures.

Looking out the window at the snow was nice, but then the reality of digging the truck out sunk in.

Aah Snow,
Can't stand the stuff personally.
Al,
If digging the truck out failed, you could always shoot some hoops!. [Linked Image]
You have to look twice to see the trash-can snow-man in the first pic. [Linked Image]

Thats not a trash can, its my squirrel baffle
[Linked Image]. Its a piece of 12" round duct with an end cap(plug), slid over a a piece of 3/4 rigid. They try to climb the rigid to get at the bird feeder only to find themselves inside the duct. Only thing I've ever seen that keeps the furry rats out of my feeder. [Linked Image]

Putting grease on the rigid post works also. Pretty funny watching them try to climb a slippery pole [Linked Image]

Just had about 60 seconds of sleety snow a week or so ago and that's it. We really don't see the snowy winters we used to get in England.
