Great way to save money, I bet that nail cost alot less than a 3 pole breaker.

Found one a while back, lobby of office bldg being renovated; 42 tandems stuffed in that puppy. ('It's only temporary Sir')

Actually I did see an 84. It was in new construction.
They ended up putting two circuits on each breaker. The lights in the owners office and the vending machines shared a breaker and kept tripping.
The panel was single phase 120 / 240 volt supplied from a three phase 120 / 240 volt service. The prints showed a transformer and the contractor actually charged the customer for it.
Low bidders and cheap customers make life interesting.
