Got a call for an exhaust fan motor for a restaurant that kept tripping the breaker... Motor's fried, & a few things I came across while on the roof of the strip mall! One of the pics with 2 boards sticking up & the power lines going across is the access ladder about 2 feet from the lines! [Linked Image]

What is the pump for? Dont you just love it when "tradespeople" leave their debris on the roof, like hermetic compressers to name one thing but the list could go on and on........

Norcal,
I'm not sure what the pump was for (possibly A/C condensation??) I love the use of the old pump as support for the rigid & the sealtite conduits..

The wires in pic 4 were dead at least when I put a hotstick next to them.. This strip mall has probably been around since about the 60's, & it seems no one has attempted to stay in code up here, since then! Outta sight, outta mind! [Linked Image] [Linked Image]
