What are you talking about [Linked Image]

The only minor thing I see is that it could use a bushing going through the drywall

Wait, I think you are purposely hiding the violation by not showing all of the picture.

Shame on you trying to trick us like that!!

Sheeesh, some inspectors are so picky [Linked Image]

It is. It's a 1000+ sq. ft. box with its own access door and inspection windows. [Linked Image]

No problem with box fill there! [Linked Image]

there are two neutrals

They are white, but considering their surroundings I'd be reluctant to think that they're neutrals [Linked Image]

Is it really carrying electricity? Maybe this mess of wires is just speaker cables for a home theater hi-fi system....

It looks like there might be to much cable jacket in the box and I don't think those 2x4s are properly bonded.

This was sent to me by a friend of mine in a nearby city. This is a basement finish done by an owner-builder. They didn't have any more room in the sub panel, so they took a 12-2 from a 50 amp breaker and created this mess to make more circuits shocked

I think it's obvious...the circuits are not labeled on the panel cover..er.. on the drywall...er...on the studs

I've been staring at that picture for hours and I'm still not seeing it. [Linked Image]

I give up. So what is the problem, Ryan?

Ok, I think I finally see it. It looks like there might be a slight violation on a few of those cables. Less than 6" of free conductor.

"Less than 6" of free conductor"
But there is more than 3" outside the box.

Those are Power Distribution Blocks. They're often used in machinery control cabinets, right after the main disconnect. The smaller wires are run to individual fuses or C/Bs.

Ironically, the 3 pole model costs, by itself, just about the same amount as a small load center and 8 single pole C/Bs

I see only one violation..... Well err.. let me rephrase that? I only know of one violation that could be there..... And that would be energizing this mess!!!!

I'll bring the hot dogs anyone have buns?

so they took a 12-2 from a 50 amp breaker
Now we know why they didn't put in it an enclosure. The 12-2 needs all the free-flow ventilation it can get! [Linked Image]
