Could part III, and VIII also apply to some of these? If electrode type heating element... Or, Art. 427

It would explain the bonding, disconnect, and GFI's required on some of these.

Many of these have written in the instructions that "disconnect must be within site and be able to locked open." http://www.sussmanlifestylegroup.com/support/msiom2.pdf

Many others require a GFI.
"The Steam@home generator is to be connected to a grounded receptacle with GFCI (Ground Fault Current
Interrupt) in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code)." http://www.sussmanlifestylegroup.com/support/steamhomeiom.pdf

One unit is residential, the other commercial, and both share the same 777D UL listing. http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/...cfgid=1073741824&version=versionless &parent_id=1073989212&sequence=1

Which reverts to UL 499: http://ulstandardsinfonet.ul.com/scopes/0499.html

So I guess I have been wrong all these years, and possibly applying code requirements that may be simular, but not applicable. Still confusing though.
