My ECN "Handle" - Scott35 - came from my age, back when first becoming a registered member - along with my first name.

The more current version would be Scott41, which will be revised to Scott42 in a few weeks!

There's a Railroad Museum near us (within 100 miles near, that is!) which has an operating RS-2, + several other ALCO Diesels (which need restoration).
For $20.00, you get to operate the RS-2 for like 30 minutes or so, running around some local trackage.
The 30 minutes includes instructions on how to operate the Locomotive. Instructor remains in-cab throughout the run time.
Very nice experience!
