This is somewhat related if bees, wasps and ants are a problem for you. Get a 35mm film can (or similar container) and put baking soda in it, toss it in your tools. If you get bit by ants or bees, wet the sting and rub the baking soda in it. This will neutralize the formic acid in the venom and minimize the effects. My wife got to use hers today, fireants got everybody bad. It really helped.
