Hello everyone. I am an electrician by trade but I've been out of the field for a while.

My main hobby consists of sw reef aquariums. We are having some discussions about GFCIs and grounding probes (the grounding probe is placed in the aquarium's water) and need some professional assistance.

So here's the question. A pump shorts out while your hands are in the water. The ground probe drains the current and the GFCI trips. Do you get shocked??

Thanks a bunch,
Travis
