DSK, Those aren't mains-rated connectors, they look like a copy of the Neutrik Speakon connectors used for PA Amplifiers. Even the Neutrik ones state that they should only be used on 100V speaker systems.
Neutrik Powercon is rated for mains voltage but mustn't be plugged/unplugged under load.
