We got into this cord and plug thing with IBM. The story was that it was a listing violation to change a plug on a listed cord assembly. The machine was evaluated with that assembly. They made a big deal about it but they still had the cord caps in the parts catalog. We did have the whole cord assemblies too, with various caps on it. The cord cap police is OSHA.
