Is the recepticle installed under the eaves reqired to be GFPE protected and not GFCI? Does this not also apply to recepticles servicing heat trace? My thought would be who would be the one to climb the latter to reset the GFCI, or for that matter, climb in the attic to reset the GFCI? I would at least run a new circuit down to the service.
