Here in North Carolina, we have 3 classifications in addition to residential only, swimming pool and low volt. The classifications are: 1. Limited..Up to 25,000. per job and 600 volts or less. 2. Intermediate..Up to 75,000. per job 3. Unlimited..No limit
Each classification requires its own test and has its own standards for experience and apprenticeship.
