How would you feel about working for yourself for 24 years and having little to show for it? If I want to stay in this line of work I have to get out of installations. My body is becoming "worn and torn". I can either give it up, or hire a tech to replace me. The only way that will happen is if I become the manager and build the business. I may be able to last 15 or 20 more years as a manager, but only 5 or 10 as an installer.
It's not lust for profit, it's expecting a return on my investment. Who in their right mind would invest thousands of dollars without expecting a return?
