Prior at 02.00 hrs we had 11 kV lines causing a wooden pole to burn down and stood by till the POCO repair crews arrived in th rain.
Hi, Auckland was hosing down with rain at 05.00 hrs.
I do admit and didn't go to the dawn parade at glen eden cemetary.
At 09.30 h we met at the Fire station and had the parade through Titirangi Village, do the formal ANZAC ceremony with speeches and imput from the local schools, and afterwards ended up in the Titirangi RSA to have a few drinks afterwards.
