Somewhere at work there is a picture of a car with a hole in the bonnet after a rusty insulator pin snapped and was pulled down by the weight of the cable it was holding.
My guess was that the actual porcelain insulator that went through the metal.
There is a fair bit of wieght in a overhead wire of any size.
