Nothing fills me with confidence more than drilling and tapping a hole in a metal cabinet right where I have a good chance of my drill shorting the two main busses to each other.

I wonder what the amperage rating of this fusable link breaker now. I am betting on the handle melting before the copper fuse.

That breaker should perform it's function quite adequately, the NEC requires that breakers be trip free, if it was a really old breaker like a Cutler-Hammer/Square D XO, I would be terrified.
