That has always been the case. Your supply house will order a bazillion (give or take a few) of them and they will be special ones with the supply house's name and logo on the cover in many cases. The supply house can now undercut the NFPA member's price who is normally just ordering a few copies (my order the last cycle was around $2,500). NECA has been doing the same thing for years along with Graybar and several of the other places. Additionally, the Code will be available at these other places before it is available to the members. I really doubt that this process will ever change.
