1.In a one family dwelling with a permanently installed pool, 680.21(A)(4) allows the use of nonmetallic sheathed cable in the interior of that dwelling or the interior of an accessory building as a wiring method for branch circuits to a pool motor. Yes or No?
2.If the pool motor is "hard wired" from the disconnect switch that is required by 680.21 and not cord and plug connected, then GFCI protection of that motor is not required. Yes or No?
3.Also 680.23 does'nt allow the use of nonmetalic sheathed cable as a wiring method in any case as the branch circuit supply on the line side feeding j-boxes and low voltage transformers listed for connection to the conduit that extends to the forming shell. Yes or No?

My opinion

1. yes , 680.21(a)(4) allows this only on 1 family dwellings

2. No, gfci protection is not required unless it is cord and plug connected 680.22(a)(5)

3. No, NM cable is not listed for use in a wet location and it must be a minimum #12 insulated equipment grounding conductor 680.23(F)(2)

Agree with Dan.
I don't see much controversy in any of these three questions. They are very clear areas of 680 IMO.
