If I am installing conductors larger than #6 in conduit that enters one side of a wireway and exits the opposite side and the conductors are only deflected 25°, is this considered to be a straight pull and the rules at 314.28 apply? If they do and if I'm using 2" conduit, the wireway would have to be 16" between the two sides.
376.23 Insulated Conductors.(B) Handbook Commentary: Section 376.23(B) was added to the 2002 Code to ensure adequate space for conductors in other raceways as they enter a wireway. Where wireways are used as pull boxes, the same minimum dimension requirements associated with raceway entries of pull boxes apply.
