Various Breakers, various Romex, a "full network" of #12 THHN (black, red, blue, white and green), Some #10 THHN, various and sundry fittings (pvc and emt), lots of cut-in (zip) boxes,1/2" & 3/4" EMT and PVC Conduit as well as 1-1/4" and 2" PVC, 1/2" and 3/4" cable straps etc. etc... In the cab, I've got trade magazines and catalogues to read during lunch, a GPS (a fun way to keep mileage), an angler's scale (to weigh and inventory rolls of wire), toilet paper (the porta john's always seem to be empty or soggy) a first aid kit (band-aids and tylenol), jumper cables, a tow rope, oil and coolant, and a roll of ubiquitus (sp?) duck tape.

I'm sure I've left something out...

Keep in mind, along with tools, this all fits in a Nissan.

Sorry for the "boy butter" comment not out to offend any one, I heard that from a guy I worked with years ago and it has always stuck. Yes, Yellow 77

I do service work which includes low voltage and fire detection systems as well as electrical. I try to keep a little of everything on my van ('95 Ford 250 van) and hope I don't have to make to many trips to the supply house!

In the days when I worked “outside” not “inside” I kept my van stocked with everything that I could fit in. I’m sure that it was loaded more than twice its rating. I hated to be caught without that last something I needed to finish a job. I had so much stuff the other guys nicknamed my van NOAH’S ARK [Linked Image] because they figured I had two of everything. Boy those were the day!
