Has anyone seen a recreation vehicle with a 30A 125V service?

Yup. I once wired a 150 space RV park and and had to set up a certain number of each size receptacles; 20amp 120v, 30 amp 120v, and 50 amp 240v. I have a 24 ft.travel trailer that has a 30 amp male plug on it.

The three travel-trailer receptacle sizes are illustrated in 99 NEC figure 551-46(c)

Note that the NEMA TT-30R “RV” receptacle is a angled-blade “crowfoot” style—not to be confused with the 3-blade ‘dryer plug’

bj - what is the 'trick' of copying a diagram or illustration from the NEC?

I have no problem copying and pasting text but can't 'copy' the illustrations!!

In acrobat reader 5, use the ‘graphic select’ button instead of the ‘text select’ button. Then use edit/copy to copy it to the windows clipboard, and then paste it in a new application. I use the very crippled MS photo editor and save it as a jpeg or gif file, but I think it’ll work the same in word or excel.
