What are the pertinent code requirements for running power on a dock for a boat lift for a 30 amp 110 circuit?

For example: For a typical installation ...is the wiring run in 1/2 or 3/4 " Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 rigid conduit running along or underneath the edge of the dock with a GFI breaker on shore before power goes to the dock and another GFI breaker at boat lift motor. Does the conduit need to be continous or are PVC weatherproof juction boxes acceptable along the way?

This article covers the installation of wiring and equipment in the areas comprising fixed or floating piers, wharfs, docks, and other areas in marinas, boatyards, boat basins, boathouses, yacht clubs, boat condominiums, docking facilities associated with residential condominiums, any multiple docking facility, or similar occupancies, and facilities that are used, or intended for use, for the purpose of repair, berthing, launching, storage, or fueling of small craft and the moorage of floating buildings.

Private, noncommercial docking facilities constructed or occupied for the use of the owner or residents of the associated single-family dwelling are not covered by this article.

The best advice that can be presented would be to locate a licensed local EC is your area of Florida. There are many variables to the installation that you referenced above
