With all the discussions about these attention getters(afci bkrs), I don't mind asking what if anything are we supposed to test them with? They are just now being installed in my neck of the woods and as of yet I have not had a final on them and would like to test them accuratly. Joe-anything?
thanks,ccdave

ccdave Welcome:

I am not sure if anyone has developed a tester, aside from those that may be a part of the AFCI products.

Here's a UL link that we can use to search for an answer:

http://www.arcfaulttester.com/ is UL Listed.

http://www.ul.com/media/newsrel/nr092402.html talks about an Etcon tester that bears an unauthorized UL marking, and may be unsafe to operate.
