The 2 most common problems I've seen are due to an error in the Email address provided (password cannot be sent to you if your address is wrong) If you write to me I can correct the problem and a new password will be sent to you. Without knowing someone's correct address I cannot help otherwise.

and improper use of Capital letters when attempting to login the first time. Remember, that a Password can always be changed by clicking on the profile link in the Top right of screen. If you checked off the box for your computer to remember your password, you will not have to login every time. (for 1 year I think)

I just wanted to bring this thread to the top again.

It is very common for people to not realize that the Name and password must be entered exactly as given.

If I tried to post a topic using my name in all CAPITAL LETTERS or all lowercase letters it would not work. The computer only knows me as Bill Addiss, BILL or bill would not be recognized. The same thing with my password.

I've just changed over to the Automatic Password Remember thingy.
I've been logging on for ALL of the posts that I have submitted to ECN!!.
