It's a rental car with bad tires and shocks?

Isn't there some sort of movement of (or within) a conductor when Voltage is applied and current flows? Picture filament in a bulb as an extreme. And what happens when it changes direction as during normal operation? I've got to think there's some vibration going on there due to normal AC cycling.

What do you think?
