Etymology: earlier buggybow, bugger-bo, of unknown origin
1: an imaginary object of fear
2: something that causes fear or distress out of proportion to its importance

However, I doubled the 'g' (doubly feared?) and most would agree - of unknown origin.

And Bren, well, my family voted on that when Brenda Lee was popular in '62.

HI GUYS!!!
