Is there anyone who might know the manufacturers of the higher quality motor run capacitors. I have some PSC motors and I want to buy the best quality capacitor in hopes of minimizing future replacement calls.

Back in the olden days Sprague was THE name in capacitors but in this 3d world sourcing economy we have these days they may be the same asian "no name" unit with Sprague stamped on it.

I don't know specifically for motor condensers, but some good reputation capacitor brands off the top of my head are:

Nichicon
Nippon Chemicon
Xicon
Rubycon
Sprague/Vishay
Cornell-Dubilier
Mallory

I've used all of these in radio repair and never had a problem so far.

Yes, you may not necessarily get "made in the USA" products since these companies have world-wide manufacturing facilities. But the Quality Control seems to be good.
