Many people think that the Code is something that just happens and then we have to live with it. It doesn't work that way. Everyone can have input. There are two proposals IMHO that may cost you money, time and maybe your customers. Check the 2008 Code section of the ECN. If you don't like a Code proposal you can comment against it until the end of October. After that you are stuck with it. Alan--
How often I hear complaints about the code, but no ine wants to take the time to submit a proposal or comment. To me, thats like complaining about politicians when you haven't bothered to vote.

Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example.
I have a solution to the tamper proof receptacle proposal posted in the 2008 NEC section. I would appreciate it if you checked it out and commented. Thanks to Solarpower who opened the AFCI debate. Alan--
