Hello Everyone,

I'm from northwest Indiana and I am a network engineer that works for a router manufacturer. My main focus is on data and communication circuits, but I like to keep up with the electrical service side as well.

Hi, Y'all.

I'm from Wharton, TX (on the map, it's a wide spot in the road about halfway between Houston and Victoria near the Gulf Coast). The land is flat as a pancake in this part of the world. I'm primarily in the audio/visual and sound system business. When I'm not doing that, I'm a chauffer/engineer/paramedic in the local fire department. The paramedic part is particularly useful when trying to revive people after hearing my awful organ playing in church on Sunday mornings... [Linked Image]

Said it before...I get a lot of enjoyment (and knowledge) out of this forum.

I'm not in the electric business but on the business/administrative/contracting end of projects.

This forum has been very helpful from the perspective of giving an onlooker a glimpse into the trenches which allows a much better understanding of what I'm including in documents.

It also has been very helpful from the homeowner (with 1967/68 aluminum wiring) perspective in providing some insight into what might or might not be okay if/when I need work done (and certainly an understanding that I need professional help.. [Linked Image])
