OK Folks,
We are looking to make Occupational Health and Safety a wee bit more important than making a heap of money.
Money is good, but things like fingers, and arms are better.
If you are willing to come and talk with us about this subject, please do.
If you have an idea on what we should be talking about, submit a post here
Your input is most welcome.
Cheers,
Mike. [Linked Image]

Tuesday at 9pm, or whenever you can get there on the night.
Your input is most welcome. [Linked Image]

Sounds like a grand idea !
Everyone should be reminded of safety regularly.

You bet Mike, unless something has happened to you, safety is the other guys problem, when something goes wrong everyone suffers, including your business.

Good call Les,
Not to mention the suffering caused by any injury.
Not only the person that recieved the injury, it affects the whole family and workmates, in different degrees.
I remember when my father put his back out at work in the 1970's, he was off work for 3 weeks.
It affected us all. [Linked Image]

Thanks to the folks that have turned up to Our Safety Tuesday Chats.
Next Tuesday we will be having a Chat on LOTO, and the ramifications of that.
We are also open to oither areas of Safety talk as well.
Stay tuned. [Linked Image]

This Tuesday coming will be a discussion on accidents that could have been easily prevented.
Unless someone has a better idea. [Linked Image]

Does anyone have anything in particular that they would like to see discussed next Tuesday Night?.
Last weeks Chat was quite good and we ended up talking about Generators and Transfer switches and the safety ramifications of them.
We can repeat that theme this week for those that weren't there.
Or does someone have a better topic?.

Personally,
I think next weeks Safety Chat should be an open Forum that would allow anyone the chance to submit any safety-related topic that they like or feel needs to be addressed.
Don't be shy folks, we have a good friendly crew in these Chat events, nothing will be turned away for a talking point.
And you won't be "smacked down" for any of your views.
Discussion is what a Chat room is for, please use it, it is real-time too!.
It's fun too. [Linked Image]
